Painting the Places We Remember

Lynne Raimondo, an impressionist artist inspired by coastal landscapes, homes and places where memories were made, uses vibrant colors and light to capture the beauty and feelings of being there. From Florida wetlands and beaches to colorful cottages, harbors and familiar landmarks along the New Jersey Shore, each painting preserves a memory.

My appreciation for art started at a young age thanks to my mother who become an award-winning artist, building her art career from home, without social media, a studio or shop, and continuing for 50 years. I have always appreciated that Original Art gives a space personality in a special way that mass-produced decor cannot. I am especially inspired by the stories behind the places, the families who built local businesses and hidden gems that have stood the test of time, and the quaint homes and coastal retreats where memories are made. I then use color and light in ways that convey a happy time and place.
